1. Start with your pantry
Choose the ingredients you actually have. The matcher ranks the recipe collection by selected ingredient names divided by total listed ingredient names, then by items marked to use first, missing items and cooking estimate. It displays what is missing. It does not assume quantities, freshness or safety.
2. Give your week a starting point
Choose one of four menu rotations and a weekday. Swap a meal for another from the same category. These choices are saved locally; your shopping list uses the edited plan.
3. Shop for the meals you will actually cook
Select days, meal types and reference portions. The list combines quantities only when the ingredient and unit match. It groups by aisle and allows extra items. A check mark stays valid only while that item's amount remains unchanged.
4. Make today easier
The Today view shows the selected menu for a date. Mark meals eaten, log water in 250 ml increments, and leave a note. We never infer that you ate a scheduled meal. These records do not measure nutrient intake.
Keep what matters
Export all your local kitchen data from Settings: menus, favorites, pantry, notes, meal and water logs, shopping selections and checks. Import is validated before replacing anything. The site also recognizes the previous version's backup format.
Cook without the clutter
On a recipe, scale ingredient quantities, tick your mise en place, start full-screen cook-along, or add the dish to your menu. A timer uses a clock deadline rather than counting callbacks, but it needs the page to remain open.
