Select what is actually available
Add the foods in your cupboard or fridge to My pantry. You can enter several known ingredient names separated by commas. Unknown entries are reported instead of silently mapped to an unrelated food.
Understand the match
The score counts selected ingredient names, not nutrient quality or quantity. A recipe with four of six ingredient names selected has two missing items. When two recipes have equal coverage, foods you marked to use first help order the results.
Build on familiar combinations
Eggs, spinach and feta point toward a simple scramble. Tomatoes, cucumber and feta point toward Greek salad. Pasta and canned tomatoes can form the start of a vegetable pasta supper.
Read the gaps before committing
Missing ingredients are explicit. Review the whole recipe for optional seasonings, soaking and safe cooking. Add the recipe to a chosen menu day, then use the shopping list to combine its original ingredient amounts.
Keep safety separate from convenience
The app does not detect spoilage or certify allergy safety. Optional online photo recognition can suggest visible foods and readable product labels, but you must review them. It cannot establish hidden ingredients. Uncertain foods and preparation differences are not silently converted to recipe ingredients.
