LET'S MAKE SOMETHING GOOD

Here's how.

    Cook the pasta in plenty of boiling water as the packet directs, adding the peas for the last 3 minutes. Keep a cup of the cooking water, then drain.

    Warm the olive oil with the sliced garlic over low heat for 1 minute, without letting the garlic brown.

  3. 03

    Add the pasta and peas with the lemon zest and juice and a splash of the cooking water, and toss until glossy.

  4. 04

    Finish with grated hard cheese.
